Even thought, all 3 programs are legit and will provide value to experience marketers, they are not suitable for BEGINNERS.

What is Affiliate Marketing?

In a nutshell, Affiliate Marketing is selling other people's product.

Obviously, it is not as easy as 1,2,3 and you'll be earning money. But with the right guide, tools, and products/services, it can be done quicker as you would think.

Before I dig that, I want to spend minute or two on the various types of Affiliate Marketing. Most likely, you've seen it as well, before even realising it. 

We distinguish between 2 major types:

2. Free

4 Pillars on How to Start Affiliate Marketing for beginners in 2021

Product or Service (Niche)

First and foremost, you want to start with defining your niche.

Whereas, it could look scary, it is not. You have to think about niche as something you have affinity with. Having affinity is important. 

Mostly because you will be dealing with this topic day in and day out. 

Additionally having an affinity with your niche is helping you overcome, the first hurdles. You can think of niche as the result of your passion or  knowledge. 

Whereas passion niche is something, where the content goes out of you more naturally, I wouldn't underestimate the knowledge niche, as you can keep your self "more distant" from the problem. 

Some examples for niches for someone who studied medicine and has a hobby in fishing could be then:

• silicone rods for beginners (passion) 
• how to stop being obese (knowledge)

Moreover, we can distinguish between broad and micro niche. I think the meaning is clear. What you want to know regarding your Affiliate Business is, that micro niches rank somewhat faster , than broad niches. 

It has something to do with competition as well.  

You want to spend some time before you move to the other pillar. So, think on what you like, what would you like to be busy with and gain knowledge in. 

Customer (Audience) 

"Hey bruda:? Whoss ap?" is something you would use for peers of other age group as " Good afternoon everybody. How are you?"

I think you know what I mean. While it doesn't matter how you speak to your audience, it is important that you understand them. 

Firstly, you want to define them. 

What they are, what do they read, they interest, where do they hang out. Their opinions, wishes, desires. 

But as well, their fears and hopes.

Whereas, not the easiest part, as more as you know about them, the more "to the point" you can be. 

Furthermore, as more you understand your audience, as more connection you will create. 

That in the end, would lead towards more sales. Because, looking on yourself, do you intent to buy something from someone you trust, or from random guy?

Your Website as Source of Information 

When you have the ideal product or service solving other people's issues (your niche) . When you have  found the group of people searching for this product or service (your audience).

Following these two steps, you want to have a website. 

This website will serve as connection point, or market place if you will. 

Even so, today trends are make quick sales and push button solutions, the traditional "helping people" wins. Why did I mention the push-button? 

Because out there, there are "gurus" who will try to sell you those systems. Something like this or this.

They will try to tell you that you will be ok with squeeze pages. That short quiz, with YES/NO answer is going to create you "money-making machine". But even in these low value provided programs, there is sort of website you have to have. 

Problem is that those "push-button" DFY programs are offering low quality products that people won't buy after sale or two. 

Programs like 12 Minute Affiliate is example of such a platform.  Your "audience" will be tired of those crappy products and you end up spending thousands $$$ on traffic.

What you want to do instead, is to build a website.

Ideally with blog posts, where you share your knowledge and during the process of building the trust, you will became authority.

After that, you, together with your website would be the right solution, if your "audience" needs help with the "problem" in your niche.

Creating a website is nowadays pretty straight forward and no time consuming at all.

Finally, when you have set up your website, you want to find affiliate offers you are going to share with your readers. 

Now, it is fair to say, that to make a sale could be one of the most difficult, yet the most important in the entire process. 

Because, even if you have a great looking website, you have people who are reading your great content , but you are not making sales, you won't be successful.

Make sense, right?

Again, there is difference between affiliate program and affiliate platform. Program is a place of singular offer. In most of the cases, it is program that has already some client base and will use Affiliate Marketing as additional tool for extra sales. 

My girlfriend works for Under Armour, and they have such a program. The commission is around 20% (depends on which item).  

So, if you are in health, or fitness niche and you like Under Armour, that would be interesting for you. 

Normally, you have to apply with such a company by sending them request on their website. After 1-3 working days, you will hear if you got accepted or not.

How to  start affiliate marketing for beginners in 2021?

Lastly, I want to talk about the traffic.

If you've done your research, you know that traffic will define your success or failure. 

In other words, you want to have people finding your offers.

Previously, I talked about the FREE and PAID options. 

I prefer FREE, organic traffic, also defined by SEO optimisation. 

Below is short, yet very clear description of those two strategies. You can decide whichever is fitting you better.

1. Paid one- Investment coming from your own pocket. Often times is short living and oftentimes you don’t earn what you initially invested. So you are in search for new shiny objects on and on. The only one who earns in that case is the owner of the course/program.

2. Free on- No(or very low) investment. Need of building your website and audience. Even, it can be time-consuming at the beginning. Sustainable profit on long term.

If you are clever, you’d choose the second option.

Not only will cost you much less to start with, but it will bring you success over longer period. When done correctly, and with right guidance, you can achieve results like guys below:
