do you love what you do

Welcome to my blog post Do You Love What You Do?

You are in charge of your life.

Always, when I say this, I feel so much powerful, in control and I almost feel an increased heart-beat.

I am sure, you know what kind of excitement I am talking about.

If not, you might want to get back 10, 20, or 30 years back to your childhood and ask that tiny kid again: "What I am going to do with my life?"

You see, it is natural for humans of all ages to fall into the daily routine and to forget the wildest dreams, they had once.

Regardless, of your nature, I honestly believe, you can love what you do and at the same time, you can do what you love.

Please, grab a cup of your favourite drink and enjoy this post.

P.S.: I promise I won't shoot just empty motivational phrases.

Also, I will show you the one strategy you can do, if you want desperately work around your passion.

Shall we start?

Do What You Love or Love What You Do?

The way, I see it, there are 3 types of people when it comes to loving/hating their jobs.

Firstly, there are those enthusiast people. They are completely persuaded over finding out their passions, hobbies, and things they love, with intention of turning them into careers.

Secondly, there are those people who are happy with working "just" to pay theirs lousy the bills, hating the boss, and complaining over a beer every Friday night are pretty ok for them.

Lastly, there is also group of people who aim to love what they do.

Also, if the present job isn't the best one, because the schedule can be less pain in the ass, or the boss can be more supportive, but they somehow accept this and try to find the positive to enjoy it.

So, what should you be aiming for?

Doing what you love or settling for loving what you do?

Which approach is better?

I think we both agree, that belong to the second group, the negativists, shouldn't be what you'll aim for. Unless, you are kind of psychopath who likes to be in negative emotion 24/7.

do you love what you do

I have the privilege of living in both scenarios, so I hope you can appreciate the authenticity.

My advice would be: Do it Both Ways.

No, I am not crazy, hear me out.

I think, you should start with loving what you do and aim for do what you love.

Unless, you are hating the entire place you work and you won't find a single thing to like (in which case, I'd urge to leave the place ASAP).

Obviously, the best case scenario would be to do what you love, but if you are not that fortunate yet, use your present circumstances to build the habit of loving what you do.

How?

In the majority cases, there is always something you can start to love in your present job.

Let's say you are bus driver.

do you love what you do

You might dislike the weekend shifts, but you still love helping people getting from point A to point B.

So, concentrate on the service and the weekend shift will be much more pleasant.

I know what I am talking about.

Some 5 years ago, I used to work in the hotel.

First as front desk agent and later as manager.

While I really didn't like my evening or weekend shifts, serving others, making new connections, improving my language skills, always helped me to love it there.

Without a doubt, better is to do what you love for living.

Do you know the saying: "Do what you love and you'll never work a single day of your life?"

I can assure you, this will bring you even more pleasure into your days.

If you son't know it yet, let me tell you way.

Why Care?

You see, I get it.

There are probably more people in your circles, who are unhappy, doing jobs they don't like, and who like to complain.

This is the "standard normal", 95% of people are unhappy.

I just want to show you, that it doesn't have to be that way.

There is another way of living this life.

Maybe, you'll be surprised, but you actually can do what you love.

I mean, it might seem to you like, oh Gosh, I love watching movies, how this can turn to be a career path? You might start write movie reviews. Less interesting would be to work directly in the cinema.

But still an option.

Even if it something you never thought could be a niche, there are people happy to learn from you.

Even if it's comics, painting, or driving a car?

You can create helpful product or service, and then sell it, with almost every subject.

Not only, would you feel great, because you'll be helping others.

In addition, you can still have great friends, the love of your life sharing the same bed with you and you can be enjoying your life to the fullest.

Rather than writing a super motivational blog post on how to find your passion, I want to "remind" you what you will gain when you will do what you love.

Additionally, I will share with you the very best strategy, you can work around your passion, and start for free right now with what you already know.

You'll Be Happier

Even so, it might be cool to have sad eyes from time to time, unless you are a teenager, you want to have that sparkle rather than a sad look.

Not only, you'll  be more attractive in the eyes of the opposite sex, but you will have much more fun in your everyday life.

I mean, ask yourself, do you feel better when you are happy or do you like to go throughout the day, just because "you have to"?

In case, you won't like to do it for yourself, think about the surrounding people.

Don't they deserve "happy you" around?

do you love what you do

Again, depends on the place of the earth you are living in, yours surroundings and maybe yours upbringings, but TRUST ME, YOU REALLY CAN BE HAPPY WITH YOUR LIFE.

You doesn't have to fulfil wishes, desires or dreams of someone else.

More Time For Your Hobbies

When I was working in my full-time job, I haven't had time for my hobbies.

I mean it.

I didn't get to do what I wanted to do.

All, my energy level, mental state, and time schedule allowed back then was one hour of sport and an evening or two of meeting friends.

Not that I was complaining, but seeing it now, it was terrible.

Even though I felt I didn't get to do what I loved, I wasn't making it a "big deal" out of it. Now I know, I should have.

Anyway, if you don't want to look back after 5, 10, or 20 years that you missed those hiking trips, weekend trips to the beach, or playing "stupid" table games, you better do something with your life now.

do you love what you do

Would you believe I wasn't hiking up to my 29th birthday? Now, I have to do it at least twice a month. This picture is from Tenerife hill in 20th December 2021.

Enjoying Freedom and Being Your Own Boss

This is my favourite one.

Actually, I would say, this is the main reason, I said GOODBYE to my FULL-TIME JOB and started working for myself.

You can read my story if you like here.

I bet you can relate to me somehow.

In fact, I believe that everyone has had the temptation of being their own boss, yet just a few achieve it.

If you forgot about those feelings, let me ask you how it would feel to work whenever you want.

Or to don't work because you have to, but because you want to? The life has so much more to offer when you can plan your own time schedule.

Apart from much more FREEDOM, if you decide turn your passion to be online, you can be "working" also while in different location.

One example from my own life, I am sort of travel junkie. After, I started to work for myself 2 years ago, I am able to travel for about 8 weeks a year.

Not only, do I greatly enjoy the location, but I also love to write while away from home. The words are coming out of me somehow quicker.

You'll Feel Alive Again

I don't know how about you, but when I do what I love, I feel I am alive.

Not, that you are not alive when you work for someone else, it just ain't you.

While being alive is for everyone different, there are some things we can say are common.

People who feel alive tend to stop and smell flowers just like that, take regularly walk at the beach, or take a free day if they want to.

Someone wants to be helping others extensively, but in current circumstances it is not possible.

You might want to travel the world, visit your family more regularly, whatever it is that makes you feel alive, is much easier to achieve when you are in "your flow".

You see, you can do those things also when in employment. Important tough is, do what you love, otherwise, you won't have energy for those things.

More Productive

When you do what you love, or when you love what you do, the tasks you "have to do" are somehow done quicker.

Funny thing is that even if the number of hours spent on the task is the same, when you work with enthusiasm, it seems it took less time to finish it.

Do you share this with me?

The feeling of time passing quicker is one thing, but you can also be so productive, that you really will finish your tasks earlier.

Example out of my life, when I write blog post about topic, I do love, the content goes out of me as bombshell.

On the other hand, when I need to arrange my taxes (as you can guess, it is one of the less pleasant tasks) than I will procrastinate or leave it for someone else.

Do what you love, and you will be earlier done, therefore you will have more time for spending the time as you wish.

Do You Love What You do?

So, if you read my whole blog post, I want to thank you for taking the time.

First of all, please be sure I didn't intend to offend you. I know, there are people who don't take advices, and they might even feel that you are attacking them when you try to tell them what is the best.

I also don't think telling you "what to do", is the solution.

Rather, I wanted to remind you if you will, and to show you what life you can have if you do what you love.

In fact, I am writing this blog post on Friday night.

What does it say about me, when I am spending time working rather than being outside, partying?

No, I am not asocial guy without friends.

I just honestly love what I do.

So, I hope my approach could give you some enthusiasm.

If you haven't found the tool and you want to tart doing what you love, let me show you a simple tool, how you can build your life around your passion, help others, and at the same time, earning living.

I believe there are plenty of ways to achieve that, but in the shifting economy, we are right now, the best way is to start earning money online.

There was Covid crisis, now there is war crisis and with the crazy high prices, there is certainly financial crisis coming. You want to be prepared to take control of your life in those times.

So, it is not just about doing what you love.

do you love what you do

In the present times, it seems almost like you have a no other choice.

I don't want to paint the future black.

Rather, I want to give you access to the tool that can help you achieve your financial success, give you time freedom and all while you will love what you'll do.

You can have a look on this tool here.

Whatever path you will choose, please search for the ways to do what you love.

Your life will be much more worth of living.

Cheers,

Julius

  1. Hey Julius,

I love this article. When you love the work that you do, it not seem like work. It will be a pleasure and something that you don’t want to stop doing. That is how you become successful because the effort you put in will not feel like effort, so you put more in.

When people say the word work, you can feel the negative vibes coming from them. Most people throughout the world see work as something they have to do, not want to do. When you love what you do your work will be something you want to do, not just have to do.

Thank you for sharing and keep up the great work that you love to do.

    All the best,

    Tom

    1. Hi Tom. I am really happy you liked my blog post. Loving something you do, is giving you automatically an edge. Therefore, it is something you should tend to. However, I can imagine for someone is the situation more complicated. For instance, in my case, I started to work in a hotel job, because that was the one I could start straight away when I came to the new country I am living in, Even my passion was somewhere else. So, in order to get to the place I wanted to be, (doing what I love and not just love what I do)I had to be super patient, motivated, and don’t lose sight. I think many can relate to that. However, learning to love what you do, is the first step in achieveing happiness, peace and success in the end. Starting a website around the passion can be “the fast track” because it can be done next to the full-time job. Cheers

  2. Hi Julius,
It is the truth, we should all love what we do no matter what it is. If we hate our jobs, then we should actually find something else. Life is too short for being miserable every day. fortunately, I am doing what I want because I am a writer also. I can do my job anywhere in the world, and it is a freedom that most people never feel. I worked in manufacturing for many years, and I had to be in the same location, in the same building everyday. It was not the freedom I enjoy now.
I hope that people take advantage of the tool you recommend and also find their freedom. Thank you.

    1. Hi Chas. Thanks for stopping by and leaving your comment. It’s awesome to hear that you are experiencing your freedom already. You can work anywhere you want and that’s a dream of many people. Also, from the lines you wrote, I have the feeling that you really love what you do, that’s even more important. I am super happy for you. Also, for people interested in starting to write and to have an income that has location freedom, I would urge those of you guys, to check this platform, that’s free to join. Cheers, Chas

  3. Hi Julius,
Thanks for this post. I got inspired. I started my online journey when my 9-5 job wasn’t ideal, and I was looking for something to get out of it. I found out how to make money online through affiliate marketing.

After three years, I still have a 9-5 job and a small website to make recurring commissions to supplement my daily life. I am so happy to work on my site after work; my family can tell this from my eyes. It gives me hope to live a laptop lifestyle as you do now. I believe if I don’t give up, I have a chance to make my dream come true. 🙂

    Cheers,
    Matt

    1. Hi Matt. So happy about your progress. Indeed, I am sure you are in a great place and as you said, not giving up is the key here. So many people start their online business full of ambitions, enthusiasm, and big dreams, but with a first-second obstacle, they’ll give up. On the way to a new “shiny object”. Achieving and maintaining online success is not an easy task. On the other hand, I believe that everyone has the ability to reach the top level. It only depends on the type of personality you are, and if you have the tools, which will bring you there. I think that this platform has both. Tools (website, step-by-step training, live classes, etc) and also it works on the right mindset needed (community), for online success. Matt, please keep up and stay on your path. The success will come! If you need anything along your way, just let me know. Cheers
